Abstract
A mathematical model and the corresponding algorithms are presented for computer-aided optimisation of the design of a container ship. The main starting parameters and constraints are explained. Economic indicators are included in the optimisation. The principal particulars of the optimum ship variant calculated from the mathematical model are compared with those of an actual container ship. It is concluded that the optimisation method described is convenient and practical, and shortens the design process. Order from BSRA as No. 49,196.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
