Abstract

A computerized interlocking system in railway signalling is presented. The overall architecture of this system aiming at a high degree of safety, reliability and flexibility is shown. The fail-safe technology based on triple modular redundant microprocessors is discussed. The interlocking software applicable commonly to every station and the test system are shown. This system has already been put into service at 6 stations and is going to be applied widely in the JNR.
