Abstract
Responding to a need to repair its severely cracking roads, Forsyth County, Georgia officials successfully remedied the problem and saved substantial tax dollars by using expanded asphalt base stabilization methods instead of traditional patch and overlay methods. The process, which utilizes foamed asphalt, can double or triple the strength of an existing road while costing less than conventional repavement.
