Abstract

Isolation and species identification of the rhizosphere parasitic nematodes were carried out from 80 roots and soil samples, which were collected from Pinus massoniana,P.thunbergii,P.elliottii,P.densiflora from Nanjing,Zhenjiang,Huai'an,Lianyungang and Yangzhou cities in Jiangsu province. The results were as follows:Helicotylenchus dihystera and Paratylenchus pini were isolated from the rhizosphere of healthy P.massoniana grown in Mount Zijin of Nanjing City;Gracilacus steineri,G.epacris and G.straeleni were found in the rhizosphere of weak P.massoniana in Jiangning district of Nanjing City;Tylenchorhynchus malinus were observed in the rhizosphere of healthy P.massoniana in Yangzhou City;P.minutus were from healthy P.thunbergii in Zhenjiang City.P.massoniana was a new host of T.malinus,P.bukowinensis,G.straeleni,G.epacris and G.steineri, while P.thunbergii was a new host of P.minutus.Moreover,P.bukowinensis,G.steineri,G.epacris and G.straeleni were the new record species in Jiangsu province.
