Abstract
THIS CURVED VIADUCT SUPPORTS TWO 11.50 M-WIDE CARRIAGEWAYS. THE DECK CONSISTS OF TWO CAST-IN-SITU 52-M SUPPORTS AND OF TWO OTHERS, 43 M EACH, WHICH COMPRISE FIVE PRECAST PRESTRESSED CONCRETE GIRDERS. THE TWO ABUTMENTS ARE OF STANDARD TYPE. DETAILS ARE GIVEN OF THE FORMWORK USED FOR THE SPANS, AND THE LAUNCHING OF THE 43 M GIRDERS FOR WHICH A SICET CARRIAGE WAS USED. THE PIERS MEASURE 18 M AT THE CREST AND 4 M AT THE BASE. THEY WERE BUILT BY MEANS OF THE SLIDING FORM METHOD IN A VERTICAL POSITION SO AS NOT TO HINDER THE TRAFFIC BELOW.
