Abstract

A forum, convened by the Eno Transportation Foundation at the request of the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, was held to build increased understanding of the forces that are shaping modern surface transportation, and to examine how their implications on different levels of government and private providers fit into the picture. This report summarizes the contents of the forum discussion.
