Abstract
Geographic Information System (GIS) is a spatial information system built for certain applications and a computer technique system established for solving the problems related to geographic situation with the aid of computer hardware, software and network. To begin with the necessity of combination of transportation planning and management with GIS, this paper has studied the relative problems which must be solved if we use GIS to study and analyze traffic problems.
