Abstract
An electro-magnetic dynamic triaxial apparatus is used to determine the modulus and damping of soil in the range of strain 0.000001 - 0.01. A method serving to determine the maximum modulus and damping is suggested in this paper. Some problems in the data analysis and achievement expression are discussed, and the test results of several soils are given for comparison.
