Abstract

Test research is carried out on the dynamic shear modulus and damping ratio of various soil samples. Linear relationship between dynamic shear modulus and damping ratio is obtained based upon curve fitting method, which has a certain reference value for earthquake safety assessment in geotechnical and civil engineering.
