Abstract

The Rail Transit Safety 1980 Annual Report is a compendium and analysis of rapid rail transit (RRT) accident/incident and casualty statistics reported by 11 RRT proprties--Bay Area Rapid Transit District, Chicago Transit Authority, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transit Authority, New York City Transit Authority, Port Authority Transit Corporation, Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, Staten Island Rapid Transit Operating Authority, and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.
