Emotional, provocative, conceptual, imaginative, hazardous, profound, crazy, colourful, astringent, personal, sophisticated, playful...The Fat Booty of Madness - All facets are covered and the craft of goldsmithing is taught undogmatically at Munich Art Academy. The 'class for jewellery and tableware' and its far-flung international network have contributed substantially to Munich's reputation worldwide as a leading centre of auteur jewellery. The class has been supervised since 1991 by Professor Otto Kunzli (b. in Zurich in 1948). Jewellery at Munich Art Academy also looks back on a grand tradition inaugurated by distinguished professors Franz Rickert (1904-1991) and Hermann Junger (1928-2005).
