Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical application of serum CEA,NSE and CYFRA21-1 markers in diagnosis of patients with lung cancer.Method Serum levels of CEA,NSE and CYFRA21-1 were determined by electrochemiluminescence(ECLIA)in 56 patients with lung cancer,41 patients with benign lungs diseases and 30 normal subjects.Result The serum levels of CEA,NSE and CYFRA21-1 were markedly elevated in patients with lung cancer than those with benign lung diseases and healthy subjects(P0.05).The sensitivity of CEA,NSE and CYFRA21-1 for the lung cancer was 51.79%,44.64% and 55.36%,and the specificity were 92.96%,90.14% and 88.73%,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of combined detection of these three tumor markers were 92.86% and 94.37%,respectively.Conclusion Combined detection of serum CEA,NSE and CYFRA21-1 could significantly improve the sensitivity of diagnosis of lung cancer. These markers can also be used in the disease prediction.
