Abstract
A computer program is described which calculates the distribution of Kelvin wavemaking sources over the hull surface satisfying hull boundary conditions exactly and linearized free surface conditions. This gives fair estimates of wavemaking (with allowance made for frictional reductions of stern waves) and good predictions of flow over the hull.
