Abstract

Though some informalion is available regarding the \nbreeding habits and early life histories of sciaenids'-s \ndetailed studies on reproductive biology are lacking. \nThe present paper deals with the reproductive biology \nof Johtlieops osseus, the dominant species of the \nsciaenids captured off South Kanara Coast.
