ゲラニオール, ネロールおよびシトロネロールの混合物から高純度ゲラニオールを分離する蒸留塔設計のために, 各純物質の蒸気圧および2成分系気液平衡を測定した.さらに70mmφのスルザー充填塔を用いて20mmHgで減圧蒸留実験を行い, 高純度ゲラニオールの分離が可能なことがわかった.
