Abstract

One of the most onerous factors which limit the effectiveness of concrete patch repairs is chloride induced corrosion. This paper describes the experience of taywood engineering in installing and operating cathodic protection systems in UK, Australia and Hong Kong. Cathodic protection has provided an effective solution to corrosion problems irrespective of the chloride level.(a) for the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 813594.
