Abstract
Numerical simulation by means of a multi-level model is used to show the effect of artificial islands on ocean currents. By means of the multi-level model, differences of current pattern around reclaimed floating islands are discussed in cases of simplified rectangular bays, Osaka Bay, and Tokyo Bay. It is clarified that a floating airport changes the current pattern less than a reclaimed one.
