Abstract
This article describes the Hong Kong Electronic Road Pricing Project which will compare two different electronic road pricing technologies. The first will study Vehicle Positioning System (VPS) technology and the second will study the Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) technology. The comparison will provide government officials with the information required to decide whether to implement electronic road pricing in Hong Kong.
