Abstract

A detailed study of the distribution pattern of size and abundance of the commercial \npenaeid prawns of the southwest coast of India, Metapenaeus dobsoni, M. affinis , \nM. monoceros, Penaeus indicus and Parapenaeopsis stylifera , has been carried out based \non the catches of the exploratory vessels belonging to the Government of India Offshore \nFishing Station and the Indo-Norwegian Project, Cochin.
