Previoua work on the solubility of tFCtjXffi^PQ^SHgQ has boon roportod in Y-315.The study has been continued to detersiine more extensively the effects of various ions on the solubility.A dissolution reaction has been postulated from the data on solubility in nitric acid-ajnmonim nitrate systems.The effects of both excess phosphate and excess uranyl ions indicate the formation of complex ions.The solubility in sulfate systems is compared with that in nitrate solutions.Ammonium salts are much more effective precipitating agents than either sodium or calcium salts.
