Abstract
This paper provides a comprehensive solution for the electromagnetic characterization of radomes. The efficient simulations for a large radome structure can be performed by utilizing the hybrid approach, which is otherwise almost difficult to achieve. The accuracy of the hybrid solution is comparable to the full wave model with significantly reduced solve time. The HFSS simulation technology, therefore, accelerates the radome design. A comprehensive picture of robust design and various case studies will be presented at the conference.
