Abstract

In this paper,a structure of W band waveguide to microstrip probe transition is designed and analyzed by using the advanced electromagnetic simulation software HFSS.The transition is also fabricated and measured to demonstrate the performance,the measured results show that the insertion loss of the transition is less than 1dB in the frequency of 85GHz to 100GHz,which shows good agreement with theoretical results.
