The Influence of Translated Poetry on the Occurrence of Modernity in Modern Chinese Poetry

On the basis of defining the key words of modern Chinese poetry, modernity and modern, it is the first time in China to discuss the influence of translated poetry on the modernity of modern Chinese poetry from the following three aspects: Firstly, it argues that translated poetry embodied the modernity characteristics of modern Chinese poetry and led the development of modern Chinese poetry towards the direction of “modernity”; secondly, translated poetry was the motivation and driving force of the modernity of modern Chinese poetry, which reflected the modernity appeal of modern Chinese poetry; thirdly, from a specific point of view, it was respectively demonstrated that the correlation between translated poetry and the modernity factors, such as language form, spiritual emotion, avant-garde characteristics, and decadent color of modern Chinese poetry, thus explaining the positive role that translated poetry plays in the development of Chinese new poetry modernity.
