Abstract

A novel low- k material ( D k is as low as 2.23) was prepared from functionalized 4- tert -butylcalix[4]arene with different numbers of benzocyclobutene (BCB) units (2 or 4) and spacers (–(CH 2 ) 3 – or –(CH 2 ) 6 –).
