Characteristics of Kinship in Algerian Society

Abstract

In this article, we discuss the kinship system in Algerian society through a socio-anthropological analysis of the concept of kinship and its types, affiliation systems, and the most important socio-anthropological theories of kinship, includingthe theory of "Germaine.Tillion" that she extracted from her study of Algerian society.Finally, let us highlight the most important characteristics that distinguish the Algerian kinship system.
