Uniform approach to a definition and study of Cournot and Stackelberg competitons in Cournot model

Abstract

The article describes the process of constructing of operators in Cournot and Stackelberg models taking into account the number of active companies. Investigated operators are very different from the known "classic" Cournot and Stackelberg operators. Economic meaning of these operators and their fixed points is unclear because of a uniform approach to the identification and study of these strategies.
