The current study investigated the relationship between tolerance of ambiguity and critical thinking. The sample consisted of 120 university students who completed a measure of tolerance of ambiguity and a measure of critical thinking. The results indicated that there was a positive relationship between tolerance of ambiguity and critical thinking. These findings suggest that individuals who are more tolerant of ambiguity are also more likely to engage in critical thinking. Furthermore, the findings of this study have implications for educators, as they suggest that promoting tolerance of ambiguity may also promote critical thinking skills in students.
