We could not give the final diagnosis so far without performing surgical biopsy, even though the lesion with clustered microcalcification on mammography might be a breast cancer. We can perform the stereotaxic core needle biopsy, which was developed for the minimal invasive procedure. Moreover, the continuous vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system (Mammotome) is introduced these days, and it has been becoming popular because of its increase about amount of specimen and precision. In this paper, we present the procedure and clinical result of stereotaxic core needle biopsy for microcalcification of mammography.
