Abstract

The national income indicator and its derivative indicators are attracting more and more attention in economic theory and practice. In the practice of planning it has become the summary indicator of economic growth and development. Therefore, the problem of its content and correct measurement and of establishing the structure and proportionality of individual parts of it in the course of economic development, in the light of the Twenty-fifth Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU), is of very great importance for the development and improvement of national economic planning, for the management of the socialist economy, and for the system of economic interrelations between various parts of the national economy.
