Abstract

In this context design of communication has its roots in technical writing and technical documentation. What is technical writing? What is technical documentation? The technical documentation includes user manuals, technical manuals, training materials, technical reports and internal communication. For its production, technical writing is used. A study of this type of resources, from design to production and use, has traditionally been the central object of SIGDOC, interest group of ACM for technical documentation area.
