A MEMO TO THE STAFF: We have had many inquiries lately about the new I&EC. Because such inquiries are likely to come more frequently in the next few weeks, we think it will be useful to outline at least the major elements of the new I&EC program. With its January issue, Industrial and Engineering Chemistry is launching a new concept in chemical publishing. Based on several years of reader research, the new I&EC is designed to meet both the broad and specialized needs of the chemist and chemical engineer. We will accomplish this with An over-all monthly covering latest trends in chemistry and chemical engineering . . . plus Quarterlies dealing with specialized subject areas . . . plus A special service that makes available papers of current interest promptly after they are submitted for publication and some weeks before they appear in print .
