Can Art Be Theology?

Abstract: Systematic theology is intellectual inquiry that aims to clarify the major doctrines of the Christian faith with a view to expanding understanding of God for the time in which it is produced. Though it is commonly assumed that systematic theology must be created and conveyed through the medium of words, in this paper I show that it can also be done with and through visual art.
