Abstract

Benchmarking - the systematic evaluation of the best of the competition - is the new buzzword in quality/product planning. This book is a synthesis of lessons learned from pioneering benchmarking companies. Drawing on the experiences of such diverse companies as Boeing, Xerox, ATT forming a benchmarking team; identifying a benchmarking partners; collecting and analyzing benchmarking information; and taking action.
