Abstract
The teaching of analysis of basic Operational amplifier-based circuits, taking into account the effect of finite gain-bandwidth product of the opamp, from the beginning to the students, is believed to quickly appraise them of various design issues which they may encounter in practical usage. In this paper, we review the solutions investigated in the literature to compensate the effect of opamp finite gain-bandwidth product on the performance of basic building blocks such as amplifiers and integrators, using additional opamps and capacitors. Furthermore, techniques described in the literature exploiting the finite gain-bandwidth product of the opamp to advantage to arrive at minimum component designs and designs with minimum power consumption are also reviewed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
