Abstract

The effects of physiological characteristics on flag leaves on high temperature stress are studied in initial heading stage use rice variety Yangdao 6 and Nanjing 43. The results show that chlorophyll content, free proline(Pro),soluble sugar, soluble protein, superoxide dismutase (SOD)activity, ascorbic acid (ASA)and glutathione (GSH) content are lower significantly by high temperature stress. The malondialdehyde (MDA)content and electrolyte leakage are higher significantly by high temperature stress. Compared with Nanjing 43,Yangdao 6 have higher chlorophyll content, free Pro,soluble sugar, soluble protein,SOD activity,ASA and GSH content, lower MDA content and electrolyte leakage, keeps the stabilization of cell membrane structure and function, alleviates the damage to function leaf. So Yangdao 6 have high temperature tolerance than Nanjing43.
