Abstract
Objective:To observe the quality of temperature changes before and after different quantities of ginger-separated moxibustion,and explore the quantity-effect signficance from the aspect of temperature.Methods:Acupoint temperatures of three common different quantities of ginger-separated moxibustion(3 zhuang,6 zhuang,9 zhuang)were measured respectively in HLP rats,and then a comparison of surface temperature changes in two acupoints(Shenque,Zusanli)was made among pre-moxibustion,moxibustion-session and post-moxibustion.Results:The maximal surface temperatures of Shenque and Zusanli among three different quantities of ginger-separated moxibustion were different.The maximal temperatures of 6 zhuang group and 9 zhuang group were both significantly higher than that of 3 zhuang group(P0.01),while there was no statistical significance between 6 zhuang group and 9 zhuang group.When ginger-separated moxibustion completed,it showed no statistical significance in surface temperatures(terminal temperatures)of two acupoints among the three groups.Conclusion:Stimulation of different quantities of moxibustion is an important factor affecting acupoint local temperature,while the thermal effect of ginger-separated moxibustion in different acupionts shows a relatively consistent law.
