Abstract

Objective To investigate the correlation between different amount of Ginger Moxibustion treatment(moxa cone size of 7 mm×9 mm,weight 50 mg,with 3 Zhuang,6 Zhuang,9 Zhuang moxibustion at Shenque point, for 3 consecutive days) on local effect and the overall effect. Methods The acute hyperlipidemia rat model was established to observe the effects of different dosage of moxibustion with ginger separated moxibustion on local Cx43 expression of experimental hyperlipidemia rats and the correlation with moxibustion temperature, local protein denaturation and blood lipid regulation. Results The differences between the local expression of Cx43 of ginger moxibustion treatment groups and model control group were not statistically significant(P0.05),but the local Cx43 expression of Shenque point of ginger moxibustion treatment groups existed a trend as 9 Zhuang 6 Zhuang3 Zhuang. Conclusions The effects of different dosage of moxibustion with ginger separated moxibustion of local Cx43 expression and the moxibustion temperature, local protein denaturation and blood lipid regulation has a more consistent correlation.
