Abstract

To analyze the volatile constituents in the essential oils of the flowers and leaves from Anaphalis sinica Hance. The volatile oils of the flower and leaf from Anaphalis sinica Hance was extracted by simultaneous distillation extraction(SDE),the volatile constituents of essential oils were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)combined with retention index comparison. The peak area normalization method was used to calculate the relative content of each component.Forty-one compounds including 15 common components were identified by matching the mass spectra with those from NIST2011 Libraries and comparing the retention indices with those from literature.Chemical components of volatile oil from the flower and leaf significantly varied from each other. The main components were α-humulene(13.46%),Humulene epoxide II(8.97%),Ar-curcumene(8.50%),δ-Cadinene(6.99%)from the flower volatile oil and α-humulene(17.47%),α-Pinene(15.17%),Ar-curcumene(8.27%),(E)-caryophyllene(6.06%)from the leaf volatile oil.The isomers were identified by using GC-MS Combined with retention indices and the identification accuracy of the isomers from the volatile oils of the flower and leaf of Anaphalis sinica Hance was improved. The results of this study provided scientific reference for further utilization of Anaphalis sinica Hance.
