Abstract

In the digital age professional integrity is needed more than ever when confronting “fake news” and disinformation, and the risk of biases and politicisation when facing decision-makers and their expectations. In particular, a professional code of ethics for intelligence analysts must be developed that considers the problems associated with the increasing use of open sources and social media intelligence.
