A code of ethics-the Australasian experience

There is increasing discussion worldwide of the ethical responsibilities of professional engineers. In some countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the engineering institutions have already responded by introducing codes of ethics for the guidance of members. This article discusses the Australasian perspective on the status and responsibilities of professional engineers.
