Some Asterinella, Asterostomella and Echidnodella species from southern India

Abstract

This paper gives an account of nine species of the genera Asterinella, Asterostomella and Echidnodella collected from southern India.Of these, Asterinella argyreiae, Asterostomella boehmeriae, A. helicteridis, A. lepianthedis, A. ligustri, A. meliosmaticola, A. radermacherae, A. terminaliae and Echidnodella hopeae are described here as new species.
