Hyphodontiella hauerslevii nov.sp. is described and illustrated.Its inclusion in the originally monotypic genus Hyphodontiella Strid is discussed.The limits of the genus is changed to include also cystidiate species and a variable occurrence of clamp-connexions on the generative hyphae.
