Abstract
Krarup’s house metaphor and Winnicott’s natural borders for the people and nation have been severely challenged since the statements were made. Since then, the boundaries around nations, organizations and families have changed radically in many regards. The wholes and boundaries that once seemed fairly natural have come under pressure, reshaping and reorganization, primarily as a result of technological development spearheaded by information technology.
