Abstract
By using the seismic sedimentology method and analyzing the depositional charateristics of thin section of typical formation and single-well facies, growth characteristics of sedimentary facies of Middle and Lower Triassic in Wu-Xia area,Junggar Basin were investigated. And the depositional history of study area was summarized. The results show that 90°-phased seismic data have good relationship with log lithologies, and seismic traces can be interpreted as lithologic logs in the study area.Fan delta facies, alluvial fan facies, delta facies and incised valley were identified in the Middle and Lower Triassic.Alluvial fan and alluvial plain system dominated in Baikouquan formation, and fan deltaic sedimentary system dominated in Karamay formation.
