Abstract

New With the economic situation becoming increasingly serious globally, the development of the port logistics industry is facing the pressure from a downturn in the shipping market and a decline of foreign trade turnover growth, which has brought great challenges to the development of the port logistics industry. Faced with such a complex and challenging situation, how to reduce the cost and improve the performance of port logistics has been a great concern to the industry. This paper focuses on the development of the Jiangsu coastal port logistics industry. Then, it makes an empirical analysis with SPSS statistical tools on the relationship between the port logistics industry factors and performance. Finally, according to the results of empirical analysis, this study puts forward reasonable suggestions to improve the performance of the Port Logistics Industry.
