Abstract
【Objective】Banana farmers' land circulation willingness and its influential factors in Guangxi were analyzed to provide references for promoting farmers' land circulation and land scale management of banana industry.【Method】On-the-spot investigation, individual interviews, questionnaire and statistical analysis were applied to analyze the willingness of land circulation and influence factors based on 328 banana farmers ' data from 14 regions(counties)of 6 cities in Guangxi. 【Result】The local banana farmers ' willingness of land transfer was not strong. Farmers ' willingness of contracting land was significantly higher than that of leasing out. People who were willing to participate in the land circulation were 31-45 years old, only educated at junior high school and legal conscious. Small farmers were more willing to rent smaller land under 0.67 ha, while enterprises and cooperation were more willing to rent land area of66.67-133.33 ha. Farmers were willing to transfer land area below 0.67 ha. Farmers expected longer renting time, which was 6-10 years, while the expected leasing out time was 1 year and 6-10 years. As long as the rent was reasonable, it doesn't matter where they got the land. Farmers were more willing to transfer land to enterprises and cooperation. Price was the main reason that farmers failed to get a land. External conditions had significant effects on the willingness of farmers ' renting land. 【 Suggestion 】 The government should do more publicity activities on banana market information system, perfect land price evaluation system, strengthen the construction of land circulation intermediary organizations,cultivate land circulation market, intensify policy support and advocate moderate management of banana land.
