Abstract

Based on the survey data from six cities in Guangxi province, including Beihai, Qinzhou, Yulin, Nanning,Chongzuo, Baise, Logistic model was applied to analyze the banana farmer's land circulation willingness and its influential factors. The results showed that the factors affected farmers' inward transferring willingness and outward transferring willingness were not the same. Education level, income share from planting banana, and the satisfaction on the current price had significant effects on the farmers' inward transferring willingness, while the factors including education level, income share from planting banana, formal contract, and the governments' supports on land circulation and so on had significant impacts on farmers' outward transferring willingness. Based on the results, some policy recommendations for promoting land circulation were provided, including strengthening the construction of market information system, standardizing the management of land circulation, and enhancing government supports.
