Abstract
Objective To determine the expression of cytokines in new tuberculosis patients. Methods There blood amples were collected from 120 new adult tuberculosis cases were collected from January 2006 to June 2008 and 120 healthy adults. The expression levels of cytokine-T lymphocytes (CD3+)and T-lymphocyte subsets CD4+,CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+ ratio,IL-12(IL-12)were determined. Results The levels of CD3+,CD4+,IL-12 were reduced to varying degrees,Lower than the group of healthy adults, the level of CD8+ was relatively increased,CD4+/CD8 + ratio was decreased in tuberculosis patients. Conclusion The content of cytokines is associated with tuberculosis and montoring the level of cytokines is of significance in detection of tuberculosis cases .
