Abstract

Objective To study the changes in cellular immunity and humoral immunity in elderly tuberculosis patients and their implications. Methods Determined the level of the CD4 cells,CD8 cells,NK cells,B cells with low cytometry in elderly tuberculosis patients and young adult tuberculosis patients, then determine the immunoglobulin with the nephelometric assay. Then comparison with each other. Results ①The percentages of CD4 cells and CD4/CD8 ratio were significantly lower in elderly tuberculosis patients.and The percentages of CD8 cells was significantly higher in elderly tuberculosis patients..②The levels of IgA,IgG,IgM in tuberculosis patients were no obvious differences in the two groups. Conclusion Cellular immunity in elderly tuberculosis patients were lower status than young adult tuberculosis patients but humoral immunity were not influenced.
