Abstract
The species composition is one of the important characteristics of the vegetation,so it contributes to deep the knowledge of vegetation to study the flora.The middle and upper reaches of Xunhe River basin locates in the south face of Qinling Mountain.The flora of seed plants from it is rich and there are 112 families,395 genera and 750 species in this region.The geographical compositions of the flora in the region are very complex.The flora exhibits the characteristic of a temperate flora,but it has some links with the tropic flora.The origin of the flora is very old,that is there are 8 species of primal angiosperm and 8 one species genera and 11 few species genera.In addition,there are many survival plants.
